Storage at both ends of the lane

Warehousing is rarely the point of a shipment, but it is very often what makes one possible. Suppliers finish early, vessels sail late, a consignee's site cannot take delivery until the end of the month. We arrange storage at origin — consolidating several suppliers' cargo before it is packed into one container — and at destination, holding goods after clearance until you actually want them.

Bonded warehousing and deferred duty

A bonded warehouse is a customs-approved facility where imported goods can be stored before duty and import taxes are paid. That matters for cash flow: duty falls due when the goods leave the warehouse for the domestic market, not when they arrive in the country. Goods that are re-exported rather than sold domestically may not attract that duty at all. If you import in bulk and release in batches, or if part of your stock is always destined for onward export, bonded storage is usually worth pricing properly.

Handling, not just shelf space

Storage on its own is seldom what a shipper needs. Cargo usually has to be received and checked, broken down or built up onto pallets, labelled for a retailer's requirements, and released against a schedule.

Telling us what you need

Storage is quoted on volume, duration and how much handling is involved, so the more you can say up front the more accurate the figure. Useful details are the number of pallets or cubic metres, whether the goods are palletised or loose, how long you expect to store them, whether the stock is released in one go or drawn down over time, and whether anything is hazardous, temperature sensitive or unusually heavy.
