About Shenzhen
Shenzhen is not one port but a group of separate terminals spread along the Pearl River Delta coastline — Yantian on the eastern side, Shekou and Chiwan to the west. They are far enough apart that they function as distinct gateways with their own trucking catchments. Yantian handles most of the deep-sea European services; the western terminals lean towards intra-Asia and feeder traffic.
First Base Freight handles both import and export cargo through Shenzhen — inbound from any country and outbound to any country. Indicative sea transit on our the UK lane is 34–42 days; transit on any other routing is confirmed at quote stage. For rates, container options and the wider China lane, including air freight and customs clearance, see the country page — or request a quote for this port.
