About Port Everglades
Port Everglades sits a short distance north of Miami and shares much of the same South Florida catchment and Caribbean trade. It combines container handling with a very large cruise operation, so quay space is shared in a way most cargo ports do not have to manage. The two South Florida ports are usually quoted together and chosen on which terminal a service calls at.
First Base Freight handles both import and export cargo through Port Everglades — inbound from any country and outbound to any country. Indicative sea transit on our the UK lane is 14–20 days; transit on any other routing is confirmed at quote stage. For rates, container options and the wider United States lane, including air freight and customs clearance, see the country page — or request a quote for this port.
