About Le Havre
Le Havre sits at the mouth of the Seine on the Channel coast and is France's principal container gateway. Its Port 2000 terminals were built outside the historic lock system so the largest vessels can enter without a lock transit. From here Paris and the north are reachable by road, rail and river barge up the Seine.
