About San Pedro
San Pédro is the country's second port, west along the coast, and handles a very large share of the world's cocoa exports alongside timber and general cargo. Its container operation is smaller than Abidjan's but it avoids the canal transit and the capital's congestion. For cargo bound for the southwest it is the shorter road leg.
First Base Freight handles both import and export cargo through San Pedro — inbound from any country and outbound to any country. Indicative sea transit on our the UK lane is 15–20 days; transit on any other routing is confirmed at quote stage. For rates, container options and the wider Côte d'Ivoire lane, including air freight and customs clearance, see the country page — or request a quote for this port.
