About San Pedro
San Pédro is the country's second port, west along the coast, and handles a very large share of the world's cocoa exports alongside timber and general cargo. Its container operation is smaller than Abidjan's but it avoids the canal transit and the capital's congestion. For cargo bound for the southwest it is the shorter road leg.
