About Dalian
Dalian sits at the tip of the Liaodong peninsula and serves northeastern China — the old industrial heartland of Liaoning, Jilin and Heilongjiang. It is the most northerly of China's major container ports and the furthest from Europe by sea. It also acts as a transshipment point for cargo moving on to Russian Far East and Korean destinations.
