About Kribi
Kribi is Cameroon's deep-water port on the open coast, built specifically to take the vessels Douala's channel cannot. There is no river transit and no tidal constraint, which makes it the more predictable call of the two. Its hinterland connections are still developing, so inland trucking from Kribi is longer for consignees around Douala and Yaoundé.
First Base Freight handles both import and export cargo through Kribi — inbound from any country and outbound to any country. Indicative sea transit on our the UK lane is 18–24 days; transit on any other routing is confirmed at quote stage. For rates, container options and the wider Cameroon lane, including air freight and customs clearance, see the country page — or request a quote for this port.
